Production Rehearsal

 Week 6 to week 7 we have been going out of class after morning tea.

We have been running throw the whole production.

Sometimes we went into lunch, because kids didn't know their lines.

I reckon that my scene is the best because we all know our lines and actions.

I'm  in the worriers scene, we do actions with tiaha.

There is Me, Tyla, Jofie, Oliver, William Y, William B, Quinn, and Jacob.

reflection about habitats

Man is distorting everything.We have been here for over 400,000 moths.

We have ran animals to extinction like the white rhino killed for its horn.  Every year over 3 trillion trees get cut down that is way to much. By cutting down trees we are distorting habitats. 
We need to stop this.

This team with mrs white we have been learning about tapa.We did math row tashin

I enjoyed cut it out the most because I made a marst.

We also did carving and stamping.

I enjoyed everything because it was different an there were more than one thing. Mrs white tolled us to draw a patten an then we drew it onto wood an carved it out after that I then I cover it in die and printed it. Then we made tapa clofe first we skranst up the paper 10 times. Then we flattened it. Finley we diy it.  We also draw a turtle an put patterns on it, then special dry on it finally we put it all together this is how it turned out.

My book is called Dog Man. I recommended this book to all, because it is hilarious and it has action. Dog man is made up by Dav Pilkey.

This book is a comic. Dog man is a cop his enemy is a cat. Cat brakes out of prison a lot.

Splash, suddenly the blue cold, wintry, water swallowed me like a hungry white shark.

Argh I yelled as the freezing, shiny, dancing pool pulls me down quickly.

The lane ropes danced as I rushed past.

On Friday I was quietly waiting patiently for my name to be called. Finally my name was called and I was so nervous. As I walk slowly to line up my legs turn into wobbly jelly. My tummy felt like one thousand butterflies were roaming around inside it. Finally my group was numbered off.


Suddenly Mrs N nosily blows the whistle. We step onto the edge of the sparkly pool.
"On your marks get set" BANG! Quickly my legs spring into action as I drive into the pool. The glistening water glides as I freestyle to the end.


Bang! my soggy hand hits the wall like thunder. Lisa gives me a bright blue block. I pop it on the desk. "Second" I whisper quietly to myself. I feel proud.

About Me

Hi my name Dean. Today I'll be telling you a little bit about myself.  I am 9 years old, I was born on the 21st of September 2006 at Waikato Hospital. I live with my Mum, Dad and sister in Pirongia village which is by Pirongia mountain in the Waikato.

I love playing rugby, touch rugby, swimming and running. My other interests are playing on my PS Vita, LEGO, and going in the bush. I love my army toys and watching army stuff on TV. One of my interests is watching movies. My favourite movies are Lord of the Rings, The Avengers, and the Hobbit.

I've had four dogs in my life time, but two of them are now dead. The two dogs that I have now are, Tess, a three year old Blue Healer and  Rusty, a 3 month old Red Healer.

I am in year five at Pirongia School. I am in room 10 and my teacher is Mrs Hobbs.

Lizard shelter

This is my plan and a model I made (with the help of the girls) for a lizard shelter.
I made some modifications to my model because I did not have any wood.
Lizards are very hard to see because they use camouflage to hide.

Bee Report

The Latin name of a bee is apis. Bees are invertebrates so apis is an insect.                                                                                      Habitat

Some bees live in waxed hives. People can make wooden hives for bees to live in. In the wild apis group together and make holes to live in. Not all hive are yellow.

                                               Description

Bees have four wings to help them fly long distances. All bees have six black legs. They have two antennae that are on top of there head. 

                                               Dynamics

They only make a quarter of a teaspoon of honey in there life time.The queen bee lays about 20,000 eggs a day. Once a worker bee comes back in spits the nectar into the hive bees mouth. Then it puts it in a cell. Then the bees flap there wings to dry the nectar into honey. Bees can fly three miles. Bees will sting if they fell alerted or threatened. Bees can die from a disease people need to plant lots of flowers so bees can produce honey
